What are Visual Changes® Designer Peels® formulated with? 

· Natural fruit acids, herbs, antioxidants, and other beneficial ingredients. 

Will my skin peel after if have a designer peel?

It depends on your customized designer peel and plan created specifically for your skin concern. Not all designer peels are meant to peel the skin. Some are designed to exfoliate and show immediate improvement, while no visible exfoliation may be occurring. Some concerns do require flaking and peeling of the skin and that can range from 3-7 days of light to moderate peeling and redness of the skin. Peeling of the skin also depends on other factors such as products used at home, other concurrent skincare services and proper pre and post care. 

What Visual Changes® Designer Peels® does My Place offer?

1. Sensitive Skin Renewal/ Lip and Eye Smoothing Treatment: 30% Lactic Acid & Antioxidants (Stratum Corneum)

- Specially developed and clinically tested Lactic Acid exfoliating formulation for professional use. Superior Exfoliation benefits: the skin’s barrier is exfoliated and restored at a much faster rate. Helping to alleviate fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. 

- Contains powerful antioxidants Vitamins A, C, E, Superoxide Dismutase, and Green Tea Extract. Assists in quenching free radicals to slow the aging process. 

- Bioflavonoids strengthen capillary walls.

- Tissue respiratory factor stimulates epidermal growth factors.

- Anti-inflammatory, soothing, and calming properties of Licorice, Paraguay Tea, Kola Nut and Boswellian Extracts. Reduces irritation and inflammation to eliminate cell damage and premature aging.

- Suitable for all skin types. Sensitive, dry, and/or mature skin. Keeps skin hydrated and smooth with a healthy glow. 

- No downtime/ No disruption to normal schedule. Skin may be pink. 

- Sensitive Recommended treatment protocol: performed every 2 weeks for a series of 6 treatments. After 6 treatments do a maintenance treatment every 4-6 weeks. Along with home care products.

- Lip & Eye Smoothing protocol: performed every 2-4 weeks for a recommended set of 6 treatments. Maintenance is recommended every 2-4 months. 

2. Acne Skin Renewal: Modified Jessners Antioxidant Solution (Stratum Granulosum)

- Reduces fine lines and wrinkles; softens and hydrates dry skin; smooths rough texture; helps to lighten and diminish pigmentation.

- Helps to control oil; helps to prevent, open and dry out acne and other blemishes including blackheads and whiteheads; helps prevent razor bumps and open and dry out active razor bumps.

- Helps to boost client’s home care by allowing active ingredients in their home care to work on new cells instead of being absorbed by or laying on the barrier of old, dead skin cells that cover the surface. 

- Exfoliators: Citric Acid, Salicylic Acid, and Lactic Acid. Is modified from the original Jessners Solution due to the Resorcinol being excluded. 

- Anti-Inflammatory & Antioxidant: Green Tea, Licorice 

- Anti-Irritants: Paraguay Tea, Kola Nut, Licorice

- Lavender Essential Oil: anti septic, anti-bacterial, soothing, healing, balancing. 

- May produce flaking for 3-5 days. Immediate skin color ranges from pink to red.

- Recommended treatment protocol: performed every 2 weeks for a set of 6 treatments. Maintenance of one treatment every 4-6 weeks. Along with home care products.

3. Anti- Aging Skin Renewal: TCA Glycolic & Antioxidant Solution (Basal)

- Provides complete epidermal rejuvenation, eliminating damaged and dysfunctional skin cells of the epidermis, causing the stimulation and migration of new skin cells throughout the epidermis resulting in newer, fresher, healthier-acting, younger-looking skin. 

- Indications: Aging skin, fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, post acne conditions, scarring. 

- Exfoliators: TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid: wrinkles, skin laxity, scars, large pores, hyperpigmentation, flat warts, actinic keratosis, and premalignant lesions), and Glycolic Acid (fastest/deepest penetrating AHA, clear pores, fine lines, wrinkles, scars, skin roughness, repair sun damaged skin, actinic keratosis (thick, scaly skin from sun), relief to thick/dry skin. 

- Anti-Inflammatories: Licorice, Green Tea

- Antioxidant: Green Tea

- Anti-Irritants: Paraguay Tea, Kola Nut, Licorice

- Immediate skin color after treatment ranges from pink to red. May also have moderate flaking that can last anywhere from 3-10 days. 

- Anti-Aging Treatment protocol: Alternating TCA Glycolic & Antioxidant Solution with designer depigmenting treatment for a total of 4 treatments (2 of each). TCA Glycolic & Antioxidant Solution is spaced out 2-4 months with depigmenting treatments in between. 

- Home product care is recommended, especially skin lightening serum and SPF 30. 

4. Designer Depigmenting Treatment: Clear & Fade

- Produce skin lightening results without peeling. Safe for all Fitzpatrick types. 

- To help lighten hyperpigmentation without irritation.

- Tyrosinase Inhibitors: Kojic Acid, Mulberry Root, Bearberry (L-Arbutin), Azelaic Acid, Licorice

- Exfoliators: Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, Meadowsweet Extract.

- Anti-Inflammatories: Licorice, Echinacea, Meadowsweet Extract, Hydrocotyl

- Anti-Irritant: Licorice

- Collagen Stimulating and Healing: Hydrocotyl (Centella Asiatica)

- Hyaluronic Acid Maintenance & Antibiotic: Echinacea

- Performed every 2 weeks for a series of 6 treatments. After 6 treatments, it is recommended to do maintenance treatment every 4-6 weeks. Treatments should be done in conjunction with home use of skin lightening serum and SPF 30. 

5. Pigment Prep: Used in conjunction with other designer treatments.

- Degreaser, melanin suppressor, and pigment lightener. 

- Tyrosinase Inhibitors: Kojic Acid, Mulberry Root, Bearberry (L-Arbutin), Licorice

- Exfoliators: Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid

- Antioxidant: Green Tea
