Founded in 1987 by a husband and wife on the principle that topical vitamins and plant derived ingredients could improve health and appearance of the skin. Later the Licursi family purchased the brand and has continued to combine ingredients from nature with the best in beauty science. Plant-derived antioxidants and botanicals work together to improve the skin. 

Hydra Cleanse: Fragrance Free. This is a mild cream cleanser formulated with a combination of Oat extract (skin soothing) and Panthenol (vitamin B5, natural humectant to attract moisture) which work to cleanse the skin without stripping away essential moisture. Aloe vera nourishes and soothes, helping the skin appear calmer, with great moisturizing properties. Lactic acid increases the level of ceramides in the skin, which are lipids that make up 50% of the epidermis, that then help to moisturize the skin to reveal a radiant glow. This cleanser is water rinseable, and pH balanced. Works for all skin types and is recommended for morning and evening usage. 

Expert tip: Can also be used as a moisturizing shaving cream for men prone to skin irritation.

Eye Firme: A gel formula to help skin around the eyes appear more hydrated and youthful. Featuring Coffee Seed oil and Green Tea Leaf Extract to help the skin look brighter and smoother by stimulating the delicate eye tissue. Also contains Vitamins B, C, and E to help hydrate the skin around the eyes. This formula has a unique sheer texture to provide moisture to the fragile eye area.

Derma Brite: Offers broad spectrum SPF 35 for protection to shield skin from the sun’s damaging UV rays. This is a creamy moisturizer containing a special blend of ingredients to reduce the appearance of discoloration and hyperpigmentation caused by exposure to the elements and the natural aging process. Hydroquinone-free, the ingredients have been shown to help gently fade the appearance of discoloration to reveal a brighter, more radiant complexion. 

Contains three effective sunscreens: Octinoxate 7.49% (UVB filter found in 90% of US sunscreens), Octisalate 5% (UVB filter and improves water resistance), and Oxybenzone 3% (UVA filter). 

Natural fading agents: Japanese Mandarin plant extract for skin clarity: Vit C (collagen synthesis, wound healing and combating free radicals), stimulates regeneration of new cells, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and improved circulation. Amla Extract from gooseberries: soothing agent, superfood for skin, hydrates and protects, rich in ascorbic acid, antioxidant rich. Licorice extract and Kojic acid brighten the skin. Niacin improves skin’s texture and tone and reduces the appearance of pigmentation. Green tea improves skin damage with its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial benefits. Nut grass extract, and organic root, prevent formation of melanin (pigment). Mulberry extract, fruit/bark extract, tyrosinase inhibitor which inhibits production of melanin (pigment).
