How does Cezanne Keratin Smoothing Treatment work?

The cuticle, the outer layer of the hair shaft, swells with the low pH of the product allowing the proprietary blend of keratin, botanical extracts, and vitamins to enter the cortex, the centermost area of the hair shaft. Once in the cortex, Cezanne replaces the lost and damaged proteins strengthening the hair from within. Sericin, a silk protein in the proprietary blend, has a natural attraction to keratin and bonds the natural keratin already in the hair shaft. Thus, acting like a cement between the strands of keratin protein, locking the hair into a smoother shape.

What will happen during my Cezanne Keratin Smoothing Treatment? 

Your hair will be shampooed two times with a Cezanne Clarifying shampoo. Then your hair will be rough dried, and the Cezanne Keratin Smoothing Treatment will be applied. The majority of the Cezanne Keratin Smoothing Treatment will be removed, and the rest will be sealed into the hair with a meticulous blow dry and flat iron. When heat is applied to the hair, two important things happen: the bonds in the hair are stretched into new positions and the cuticle is gently sealed locking the proprietary blend of healthy ingredients into the hair. The hair will be fortified and restored. 

Active Ingredients:

· Proprietary blend of proteins.

· Aloe Vera Base: healing and moisturizing, hydrating, replenishing.

· Hydrolyzed keratin and keratin amino acids strengthen hair and bonds with Sericin Silk for strength and moisture.

· Sericin Silk: natural protein from the silkworm. Acts as cement between proteins, seals moisture into the cuticle, adds luster, protects bonds, locks hair into smooth form.
